March 26th to 28th, 2015 Sino-Japan Smart City Forum was held in Jiading Campus of Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), CAS. The forum is hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and organized by SIMIT and Shanghai Center for Internet of Things. The theme of the forum is in view of the current situation of the construction smart city development strategy, comparative analysis the wisdom of the city and promote the research route of China and Japan, smart city construction policy, technology, standards, safety and environmental protection and other series of problems and challenges, to explore the city green, low-carbon, sustainable development road of wisdom. With its high performance Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detectors (SNSPD), SIMIT has successfully stepped into the international market, in cooperation with ID Quantique in Switzerland (webpage of the product: http://www.idquantique.com/instrumentation/product/id280-snspd-single-photon-detector.html).
