Microsystem Institute held the theme salon “Scientific & Technological Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights protection“ on July 23, with Dr. Xiao Deyuan of the Laboratory 2 as the panel speaker. Starting with the analysis on the relationship between the original invention and the second-time innovation & invention, he introduced the status of the patent war between US and Japan, and analyzed the reason why Japan lost the war. Through studying current cases such as Microsoft, Huawei, and Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc., etc., he enhanced the attendees’ understanding of the intellectual property rights protection, which could guide their future scientific and technological innovations.[ Learn more ]
