The Applied Superconductivity Research branch of The State Key Laboratory of Functional Materials for Informatics held international conference “SQUID and its applications” on 16-17th Oct. 2009. Professor from Germany, Denmark, Japan, Korea, India, and some of the stuff of Applied Superconductivity Research branch, more then 30 person attended the meeting.

The Symposium was hosted by Prof. Xie Xiaoming, the director assistant Yu Yuehui addressed the welcome speech.They introduced the SQUID activities at each other’s institutions, shared opinions on opportunities and challenges on this important field, discussed about the future of applied superconductivity research etc.

They also visited the Applied Superconductivity Research branch Lab, and discussed of the strategic collaboration in the field of Applied Superconductivity Research.
