RESUME
Professor Hongju Mao received her M.S degree in Genetics from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and her PhD in Biosensors from Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and as a Royal Society Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Leeds, UK from 2005 to 2006.
In 2005, as a technical director of project, Professor Mao together with his colleagues, had successfully accomplished the clinical evaluation of oligonucleotide chips for genotyping hepatitis C virus and got first class national new drug certificate.
At present, she work on the research in early detection of major disease based on microfluidic chip and biosensor technology. She published more than 80 papers, and applied more than 35 patents. She guest professor of Fuzhou University.
