RESUME
Dr. Zhi Liu is currently a professor at SIMIT, CAS and adjunct professor at ShanghaiTech University. He received a BSc from Beijing University, and MSc in Electrical Engineering as well as a PhD in Physics from Stanford University. Before joining the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab as a career staff scientist, he was a research associate at Stanford University and Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory. Dr. Liu is a recipient of the national “1000-talent Plan”.His research interest is surface and interface Science. Particularly, phenomena at gas-solid interface and liquid-solid interface, and synchrotron base in-situ characterization techniques and instrumentation.
