The delegation of the German Science Journalists’ Association visited Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, CAS on September 21th, 2010. Director of the state key laboratory of functional materials of informatics XIE Xiaoming, vice director JIN Qinghui and researcher QU Longqing attended the discussion.

Dr. XIE Xiaoming introduced the general information of the collaboration between SIMIT and German institutes. German Journalists raised a lot of questions including the application of the research, the difference between German scientists and Chinese scientists and other topics they interested in.

After the discussion, the delegation visited the exhibition room.
