Approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Professor Song Zhitang of the Institute was elected an awardee of the 2008 Special Government Allowance, and was awarded the certificate of the special government allowance issued by the State Council.

Totally there are 135 persons from Chinese Academy of Sciences who won the allowance of 2008.
