RESUME
Miao Zhang, Ph.D., Professor of Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT). She received her bachelor and master degree from the department of physics of Lanzhou University in 1990 and 1995, respectively, and her Ph. D degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from SIMIT in 1998. From December 1998 to November 1999, she worked in the department of physics and materials science of City University of Hong Kong. From 2000 to 2001 she worked as associate professor in SIMIT and was appointed professor of SIMIT in 2002. She was a co-founder of Shanghai Simgui company,which was spin off from SIMIT in 2001. Her researches focus on silicon-on-insulator materials and applications. She has published more than 100 SCI papers and obtained more than 50 authorized China invention patents.
