RESUME

Zhigang Zhou, male, was born in July 1974 in Changsha, and received the Ph.D. Degree from National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory (NCRL) of Southeast University (SEU) in May 2005, major in communication and information systems. He works in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) since 2005. He served as ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6 technical committee (TC) member since 2005. He also severed as delegate of 3GPP LTE from 2005 to 2007, the technical committee leader of National Broadband Wireless Multimedia (BWM) Standardization with registered number of 20067544-T-339 from 2006 to 2007. Currently, he served as professor, vice director of Broadband Wireless Technologies Lab. (BWTL) and tutor of M.S. student. His research interests include transmission technologies of next generation wireless communication systems. He has been responsible for and completed many national level projects, including national “863 Plan”, etc. He published more than 50 papers in international academic journals and conference proceedings, also applied 22 patents. He won the Prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress in 2010.
