RESUME
Bin Zhou received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Science and Technology of
China, Hefei, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China, in 2012, all in communications and information systems. In 2006, he was with System Research, Nokia Technology Platform, Oulu, Finland. Currently, he is with the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology as an Associate Professor. He received the prestigious IEEE Jack Neubauer Memorial Award as the Best System Paper Award in 2016. He is the first inventor of over 20 Patent Cooperation Treaty or regional patents. His research interests include Orbital Angular Momenturn radio, device-to-device communications, mesh and relay networks, and signal processing.
