Liping Zhang was born in August 1979 in Huairen, Shanxi. In June 2009, he obtained a doctorate from the Institute of Optoelectronic Thin Films and Devices of Nankai University. In September of the same year, she went to Tokyo Institute of Technology to conduct postdoctoral research. Since the end of August 2011, she has been an associate researcher at the New Energy Technology Center of the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is in charge of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. At the same time, as a technical backbone, she participated in projects such as the 863 plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the important direction of the Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She focuses on the optical characterization of thin-film microstructures, new thin-film photovoltaic materials, and amorphous silicon-based passivation layers for high-efficiency thin-film / crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells.
