Fang Weidong, male, was born in February 1971 in Jinan, Shandong. He obtained a bachelor's degree in automation from Shandong University in June 1993, and a master's degree in communications and electronic systems from China University of Mining (Beijing) in June 1998. From July 1998 to August 2004, he was engaged in system integration and application research and development of intelligent buildings in Shanghai Huayuan Information Technology Industry Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chuanghua Intelligent System Co., Ltd. From September 2004 to December 2011, he worked as an engineer at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (4G), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and engaged in the research and development and verification of broadband wireless communication technology. From January 2012 to present, he has been a senior engineer in the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology (4G) and the Internet of Things System Technology Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mainly engaged in the research and verification of key technologies for wireless communication transmission, with particular attention to the trusted transmission, trust management and secure routing protocols of wireless sensor networks. As the project leader, he undertakes major national sub-projects, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation project, Shanghai Innovation Action Plan project, and Chinese Academy of Sciences instrument and equipment function development technology innovation project. In recent years, he has published more than 20 academic papers in core journals at home and abroad, and applied for 12 invention patents.
