The 17th China International Industry Fair, which lasted five days, came to an end at the National Convention and Fair Center (Shanghai) on November 7, 2015. Professor Xiaowei Sun from Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology together with the SimImage R&D team attended this exhibition.

    SimImage millimeter wave body imaging scanner was designed by Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology and Hangzhou radio frequency identification technology research and development center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its core chip, array transceiver components, and imaging core algorithms were independent developed by Prof. Sun’s research and development team, who has applied 20 patents around this product.

    In the Industrial Exhibition, expert and leadership from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information, Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang province, Shanghai Civil Aviation, airport and other government agencies, as well as representatives from the well-known enterprises in the industry and investment company have come to showcase. They experienced the product and hope that Simimage can serve the public safety soon.
