So far SIMIT has established cooperation with enterprises, universities and research institutions of over 20 countries and regions, among which are companies such as Samsung, Nokia, Ericsson, Benz, Alcatel, SST, etc., universities including Los Angeles Branch, California Univ. of USA, Caen Univ. of France, Lund Univ. of Sweden, Univ. of Wollongong of Australia, Nottingham Univ. of UK, Hong Kong Univ. of Technology, Hong Kong Univ. of Sience and Technology, Chinese Univ. of Hong Kong, etc., and research institutes including the Juliech Research Center, Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre,Institute of Microstructure, Canada National Academy, Babakin Space Technology Research Center of Russia. Simit has built a joint research laboratory on superconductivity and bioelectronics.

Besides, SIMIT has joined in the research of the 6th and 7th EU Framework Program, Galileo Space program of EU and Sino-French Advanced Research Program (PRA).
