The 4th Sino-German Workshop of Cooperation was held successfully in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences on 25th and 28th October, 2012. The Workshop was jointly organized by Integrated National Key Laboratory of Sensing Technology and National Key Laboratory of Informatic Functional Materials. More than 50 experts, scholars and graduate students from German Forschungszentrum JUELICH Research Center (FZ-Juelich), SIMIT, CAS Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, CAS Shanghai institute of applied physics and Shanghai Advanced Research Institute took part in this workshop.
Prof. Wang Xi, the academic of Chinese Academic of Sciences, SIMIT director gave the opening address to the Sino-German Workshop, warmly welcoming the participants and introducing the development process of SIMIT generally. Prof. Andreas Offenhaeusser from FZ-Juelich, Prof. Xinxin Li and Prof. Xiaoming Xie introduced the newest research advances of JUELICH Research Center, Integrated National Key Laboratory of Sensing Technology and National Key Laboratory of Informatic Functional Materials, respectively.
During the workshop, participants have the good extending academic communication and discussion on their common interest, such as bioelectronics, bio-MEMS, nanobiosensor technology and superconducting electronics, etc. After the report session, participants visited the Integrated National Key Laboratory of Sensing Technology and National Key Laboratory of Informatic Functional Materials in SIMIT. The workshop of cooperation provided a great interactive platform for young backbones of scientific research and graduate students from Chinese and Germany.
